Netflix was released for iPad but not for the iPhone. A ModMyi forum member named Knisitruck has successfully managed to hack Netflix to work on iPhone.

With the new Skype 2.0 for iPhone, you can now make phone calls over 3G networks! Currently Skype-to-Skype calls on 3G are free till the end of August 2010. After that there will be a small monthly fee (operator charges for data will still apply).

A lot of rumors were on internet about next Apple iPhone having video chat support. A lot of evidence was found by developers who dived into OS 4.0 firmware files.

Engadget confirms that according to their trusted source the American Beauty director Sam Mendes is directing a commercial for next generation iPhone. At one spot the next Apple iPhone advertisement shows mother and daughter having a video chat conversation with the new front-facing camera in the next generation Apple iPhone. They also report some folks on twitter are up for the audition for that Apple commercial.

Google TV is unveiled with the tagline “TV meets web and web meets TV”. The basic idea is to bring internet experience to the TV with open platforms Android and Google Chrome.

Google is working with Logitech and Sony to put Google TV inside televisions. Google TV looks good in the video above but one can really judge it after experiencing it.
