On Apple Music event, that is going on this moment, iTunes 10 has been announced by Steve Jobs. The very exciting thing about iTunes 10 is “Ping”. Ping is a social network build into iTunes music that allows you to Follow your artists and friends to discover the music on which they are have a discussion, listening to it or downloading it.

Ping home screen shows the recent activity of friends and artists you are following. It is actually all about music discovery, you can follow people and get followed. You can also set a circle of friends to share music with each other. Ping is also available on iPhone and iPod Touch.

iTunes 10 is available today for free download. Also Ping is now opened to 160 million iTunes users in 23 countries.
