I have never been a skilled photographer. I always had difficulty taking good photos with digital cameras. The reason for this lack of expertise is that I couldn’t hold a camera steadily for long enough to capture quality images. Now Microsoft has a solution for guys like me.

Microsoft Research has developed a technique that can already be applied in existing Smartphones inorder to avoid out of focus images. They have come up with an algorithum that makes use of Gyroscope and accelerometer of the phone and records the movements of the camera at the time of photo capturing and then ub that data to correct the image. The Demo photos released on Microsoft website shows definite improvement in picture quality.
