As a part of Android 2.3.4 rolling out in next few weeks for Google Nexus S and don’t know when for other 2.3.x Android devices (I hate Android fragmentation), Google Talk will be updated to support video and voice chat.

The new Google Docs app for Android not only has easy search filters and navigation but also comes with this powerful feature that enables you to create a new document by taking a snap of the text in a photo. Marissa Mayer, Google’s first female engineer who is now the vice president of consumer products at Google, interviewed Lady Gaga at Google. The fame of Gaga on Google and YouTube is remarkable. She is one of the most searched people in the world on Google and her videos are among the most viewed videos on YouTube. I am not a big fan of Lady Gaga but this interview is very interesting and a must watch for fans.

TED2011 is happening this week and I stumbled upon this video made by skimoreskimore who had a chance to ride in one of Google’s self driving cars at the conference.

No hands on wheel at all, and it went up to 43 mph. I am thrilled and freaked out even by even watching this video.

I was invited (but couldn’t go due to my commitment with my university as I live in the other city) to the Google Digital Community Moot at Islamabad organized by CIO Pakistan where we had opportunity to meet the high-level delegate of Google team with Badar Khushnood (Google Consultant for Pakistan) and Omar Shakeel (Developer at Google from Pakistan).

Google high-level delegates were not just here for the Digital Community Moot event, but also to follow up the Clinton Global Initiative commitment to Pakistan and to sponsor and participate in Pakistan’s first International Youth Conference and Festival.

I don’t know if Neil Patrick was mocking hand held gamers or showing his obsession with Angry Birds by making a real life version of the top selling mobile game that could not even get nominated in the best handheld game category. So I guess he was mocking as I can understand the feeling of hardcore gamers who just play such cheesy games during boring lectures when you have to kill the time for keeping yourself away from post study disorders.
