Epic Games recently showed the true potential of the new unreal engine which just released to developers.

The demo name is “Samaritan” , it is based on NVIDIA APEX technology and has other engine upgrades.

The engine features some high end upgrades, DirectX 11 is the most important one and also the Shader Model 5. Following is a short feature list:

- Important DirectX features
- Tessellation and displacement
- Geometry shaders
- Multisampled textures
- Shader Model 5

The engine has some impressive visual power, these graphics were rendered with 3 Nvidia GTX 580 Cards. it means that these graphics are publicly a year or more far away.
