Over 2500 Nokia employees in Finland work on Symbian OS. When they got news of Nokia Partnering with Microsoft to dump Symbian for Windows Phone 7, over 1000s of them went out on streets protesting to tell Nokia that they are not loving it.

Either they are worried about their jobs or some of the only developers in the world that are extremely, overly and killingly in love with the Symbian platform. Well I would say they had their chance to make it better but they couldn’t. Maybe they wanted to but some of the heads in the company had disposophobia with the current version of Symbian and always forced employees to do things as they think.

Many good things in the world happen after a disaster. Maybe some of them walk away starting their own company better than Symbian.
