Previously leaked by CNBeta, History Vault is a feature in Windows 8 that works like Time Machine in Mac OS X. The previously leaked build of Windows 8 (7955) appears to have History Vault feature in function.

If you are not familiar to Mac OS X’s Time Machine feature, History Vault can be used to restore old files. It manages the old files and store them with respect to timeline. Users can select a specific time and date (see the timeline at bottom in the screenshot) and restore the files back to that time.
