In the last MIX, Microsoft demoed the possibilities of Windows Azure that included the support for PHP and MySQL.

The CheezeBurgerNetwork (icanhascheezburger.com) was the first one to officially appear in MIX and announce the shift to Windows Azure for hosting their WordPress blogs.

Azure Forum Support Team has written a guide to host your WordPress blog on Windows Azure cloud and go super scalable. The guide actually uses the WordPress on SQL Server Distribution with some tweaks to get it up on Azure. It’s a piece of cake.
