The Chronic Dev team has made newer version of Greenpois0n available which now supports iPod Touch 2G. Greenpois0n RC4 is available for Windows and Mac OS X. The Linux version is coming.

This jailbreak is for iPod touch 2G running iOS 4.1.

1.) Download greenpois0n (Download link).

2.) Run greenpois0n and connect your device to computer via USB and press the “Prepare to Jailbreak” button.

3.) Now enter your device into DFU mode. Follow the instructions on the screen. Once the application has recognized the phone in DFU process wait for confirmation message.
