A few days back, a video aired by Skynews triggered discussion in blogosphere on the availability of white iPhone 4 in UK. The video showed a woman talking to camera while holding white iPhone 4 in her hand. Why this video caused all this stir was beacuse Apple had already stated that white iPhone 4 will not be available till second half of July.

Now there is confirmation that white iPhone 4 was infact a review unit. Shane richmond, Head of Technology at Telegraph wrote that

“The woman in the clip talking about the iPhone 4 is Claudine Beaumont, our Technology Editor, and the white iPhone 4 in her hand is the review unit that Apple gave us Claudine tells me that she was offered a choice of a white or black handset and decided on white. Inexplicably she also chose to decorate it with a horrible green bumper but that’s beside the point. ”
